Why BIO? Why Now? An Intro to BIO

At this workshop, both longtime BIO leaders and fresh faces will come together to do some deep thinking about what calls us to justice- exploring both an intellectual understanding of injustice as well as a heartfelt sense of what unites us as neighbors… our struggles, fears, hopes and a passion for change. Who are we? Why are we here? And why are we taking action now? 

Then, we’ll take a look at how BIO organizes to overcome our differences, and even uses them to enrich our ability to make change. We'll come away with big questions, and a curiosity about each other that will lead us towards answers.
